Who we are

Our website address is: https://www.psyctc.com.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

All visits to the site leave an IP address and browser user agent in our logs but we will never use these to identify individuals, only to help debug any problems with the site and understand cyber attacks on it when they happen. This is a WordPress site and may use cookies, if so, again we will never use those to identify anyone.

Contact form

If you use the contact form on the site to contact us the message and Email address are used to pass your message to us and are logged and kept by us in order to be able to reply to you. This information will only ever be used by us, in line with the law on personal data and the ethical standards of our registering bodies.

Who we share your data with

We will only share your identity with anyone else with your permission or if required to do so by law (though the circumstances in which that might happen seem vanishingly unlikely to apply unless you have committed some serious crime).

How long we retain your data

We will keep information about contractual or clinical contacts for the appropriate period required by law and our regulating bodies, this varies depending on the nature of the work but can be decades for some work. We would of course respect any legal request to be “forgotten” and arrange comprehensive destruction of any records about you in such a situation (see next section).

What rights you have over your data

If you have contacted us through this site you can request to receive a file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
